It required that I give my creativity space to grow, expand, and evolve.

It required that I acknowledge my voice, and begin to use it more.

It required that I begin to trust and create with others.

It required me to be vulnerable in a way that I hadn't before.

It required me to get to know myself, again.

----

As Artists, we are meant to continually evolve.
We are meant to see the world through many different lenses, and create based off of each one. We are endless, experiencing life through pain, through happiness, through fear and excitement.

We must move out of the ordinary matrix to claim our gifts.

The Artist's Roundtable was created to challenge our everyday norm. To get us out of the creative routine that we've built - or maybe even to start building a new definition of what Creativity means to us.

That's the beauty of it. Your path is unique, and completely your own. The Roundtable is here to allow it to flourish.

“In a world that often sees artists as “starving artists” or told to “find a real job” she challenges you to believe and achieve. She’s a wayfinder and helps to bring your vision to creative life. If you were the weird, artsy kid that never quite fit in… Shawna is the friend, sis, bff, artist you need. I’m always so amazed at her ability to build a creative, thriving community.”

- Carla Anna (2025 Roundtable Member)

The Roundtable's Environment is exactly what you need to creatively thrive -- accountability met with experimentation and safety.
The Roundtable includes:
  • One Group Call per week
  • One 1:1 Call anytime during the 4 Week Container with Shawna Poliziani
  • 4 Guest Expert Sessions with open Q&A
  • 2 Live 60 min Group Coworking/Ideation Zoom Calls
  • Private Whatsapp Group
  • Optional Artist Meetup (Yes, in REAL LIFE.)

During our 4 weeks together, Creators are encouraged to collaborate, experiment and share their journeys with the participants of the Roundtable.

Creators will also be asked Week 1 to choose a creative project to work on for the duration of the 6 weeks. The Roundtable will conclude with a project review at the end of the 4 Weeks.

PAST GUEST PANEL EXPERTS

Gabriella Rosie

The OG CREATRIX
(3x Roundtable Guest)

Gabby taught me that without expression and experimentation - you're not really living. Author, Traditional Artist, Social-Media Personality -- she knows what she's doing and she does it well.

@gabriellarosie

Josh Emerick

The STORYTELLER

Josh is a one of a kind videographer, producer, and all around creative. Not only has he mastered his craft, but he also genuinely CARES about the stories he takes on. He also thrives in creating communities and collaborating with other Artists.

@jmemerick

Maria Abramovich

The ENERGY QUEEN
(3x Roundtable Guest)

Please, interact with Maria before she's too famous to do my Roundtables, LOL. I don't know how else to describe her other than simply - MAGIC. A Roundtable favorite, and one of my best friends who helps Creatives understand their underlying energy and how they can overcome obstacles in their path.

@mariaxabramovich

Nick Fancher

The EXPLORER

Nick has a brilliant mind for creative exploration. Building a massive photography career based in his in-camera effects and bold style, there's no ignoring his work. The way Nick experiments and uses his process/materials to tell a story is what every Creative should strive for in creating meaningful work.

@nickfancher

Julissa Andrade

Meet your Roundtable Host:
Shawna Poliziani

About 3 years ago, Creativity felt hard... and I was required to be a "Creative" every day.
That's some shit, eh?

I watered myself down in creating for others. Caring more about what they wanted over what I wanted. 12+ years deep in doing client work that didn't fulfill me at all, it took a rather traumatic experience to pull my head out of my ass.

Now, I realize the importance of creating for ourselves and surrounding ourselves with a creative community who just 'get it.' So here I am, making sure other Artists have a place to return back to themselves. That's what the Artist's Roundtable is all about.

Learn more about my lore, here >>>

“This was a container I wanted to be a part of during it’s first inception, and I am so grateful to be a part of this one-of-a-kind experience this go round. A place to feel seen, heard and validated. An experience like no other. A leader who is a colleague, an inspiration and a friend. A cheerleader. A place Artists of all kind can call home.”

- Lauri Getlan-Watson (2025 Roundtable Member)

For the Artist who has ever felt alone in their creativity, uniqueness, or journey, I invite you to the Roundtable.

For the Creator who has stepped away from their creations and are looking for a safe space to experiment with the things that once made them happy, I invite you to the Roundtable.

For the Artist desiring not just skill, but mastery. I invite you to the Roundtable.

For the Artist wanting to know more, learn more, and connect more, I invite you to the Roundtable.

For the Creator looking for accountability and collaboration, I invite you to the Roundtable.

For the Artist who does not feel heard or seen, I invite you to the Roundtable.

Tell Your Story on The Artist Emancipation Podcast

When you decide to become a Creative Director in the Roundtable, you're choosing to tell YOUR STORY... for everyone to hear.

And, we're gonna tell it in style. We'll record our episode at The Sycamore - a podcast studio in Columbus, OH.

From the Sycamore: You'll get a fully produced and edited podcast ready to share! Includes podcast rental up to 90 minutes with a producer to make sure the video/audio recording goes smoothly and then a rush turn around on the edit adding titles/graphics and basic clean up so it’s ready to share!

“I had forgotten how much I missed communicating with other creatives: visual, writing, musical, cooking, whatever, right? We all go through the same issues, the same fears, the same joys. And being part of Artist's Roundtable reminded me that I don't have to take this journey alone. Having a coach is one thing, but being in a small group of brilliant, genius, funny women who speak THE SAME LANGUAGE - that's the key here. Shawna not only attracts the coolest creative bitches but she brings in guest speakers who take everything up another notch: they share their stories, their struggles, how they found to bring themselves to new heights, and often will do work with us right there on the zoom call. It's so much fun. Like, seriously. If you are longing for that kind of authentic connection where we can be crying one minute and cussing the next (or at the same time), this is it. This is real fucking life made better.”

- Erika Emody (2024, 2025 Roundtable Member)

I wanted connection, collaboration, and meaningful work back in my life... and the only way to get that was by putting myself out there.

By believing I was worth it.

By believing that not only was I a creative, but I was a master of my craft -- and therefore my creations deserved TIME. EXPLORATION. DEDICATION.

And I need you to believe that, too.

This space has the potential to change the trajectory of your creative journey. All it takes is your participation.

We stand together, as Creatives, as Artists - to bring change to the world as we know it.
